speedtester.bt.com

Is anyone else having problems with speedtester.bt.com at the moment as it stopped working for me yesterday which just happened to be the day I switched from Pipex to Entanet, it worked twice on my new connection at a faster speed than my previous 2mb but was still giving me the results displayed as a Fix service and not Max service with IP profile anyone else had that happen

Just I need to use it as my connection is all over the place at the moment and it would be good to know what my IP profile was up to at least then I could make more sense of my stats !

Speedtester OK at 11.00am today, but tried it just now and it took nearly four minutes to get a result, but at least it worked.

Not sure if I am the only one with this problem but Speedtest has hung my browser (Firefox2) several times over the past couple of days. Don't mean kept it waiting but completely crashed it.
Happens when it doesn't load properly.
Strange.
Been OK before a couple of days ago.
Mike.

Odd. It's only recently that I have been able to count on the "new" tester to work every time. I've just had a go and it ran without a hitch:

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 7150 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 8128 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 6080 kbps

ZeN 8000 Active

Sync: 8128 / 448 kbps
SNR Margin: 16.0 dB-ish
Line Attenuation: 20.0 dB
SpeedTouch 585

I am approximately 930 metres from the exchange (straight line distance)
