Throughput ?

I recently had a load of problems on my line which resulted in an increase in my SNR to 12db

My line seems to be fine now but I'm not getting the full throughput for my ip profile, my profile is 3500 before the SNR increase I would always get 427KB/s with that profile but now I only get 388KB/s, with a profile of 4000 I would get 488KB/s so as you can see I would always be getting the full throughput

Just wondered if anyone has had the same experience or has any ideas why this might be

I've checked my exchange for congestion and its fine and Entanet don't throttle so I'm a little puzzled

Have you checked the central you are using for congestion, Enta publish expected speeds their centrals and if things are slow you may see traffic mangement kicking in

As a matter of interest do you know if your line has been switched to interleaved from fast path? This wouldn't account for the slow down you mention though.

Yes been with Entanet for quite some time now so I'm well aware of traffic managing the above speeds are based on day time rates and centrals are never full or traffic managed during the day
