MAC and LLU

[link to this post]

Is it possible to migrate from one LLU to another using a MAC code?

If not, how is it done?

You would hope so, or else that would be nonequivalent.

LLU is not covered by the MAC process. It is only designed for BTw processes. Some LLU operators have joined the scheme voluntarily but not all LLU MACs are accepted by other ISPs.

Non MAC migrations are done with a computer system called EMP which places relevant orders with Openreach. The actual details do not concern the end user.

Ofcom General Condition 22 requires all migrations to be as seamless as possible with or without MAC.
