bt voyager 190 - unlocked - but cannot connect

Hello!

I have unlocked my BT Voyager 190 ethernet modems from AOL using this firmware:

It is Dynalink 3.29a. The DSL light and Ethernet light comes on. I set it to:

I have tested it with Tiscali Broadband and Virgin ADSL Broadband. I really need to get it to work with Virgin BB. Here are the settings. Can you spot any problems?

Protcol - PPP over ATM (PPPoA)

NAT - Yes
PPP IP extension - Unticked
Add Default Route - Ticked
QoS - No
WAN IP Address - Auto
MTU - 1478

PPP User Name - [email protected]
PPP Password - *password*

Session established by: Always On

Default Gateway Automatically Assigned
DNS Server Automatically Assigned

Enable ADSL Port - Checked
Line Modes:

The ones that are checked:
G.dmt
G.lite
T1.413
ADSL 2
READSL2
ADSL2+

Unchecked:
Annex M

Capability Enabled: Bitswap - Checked
Seamless Rate Adaptation - Unchecked

When I enter username and password and click connect it counts down from 30, but then returns me to default log in page where I can try again. No error or anything so I think it may be firmware issue.

Diagnostic Results:

Ethernet Connection: Pass
ADSL Synch: Pass
ATM OAM F5 segment ping: Fail
ATM OAM F5 end-to-end ping: Fail
ATM OAM F4 segment ping: Fail
ATM OAM F4 end-to-end ping: Fail
Test PPP server connection: Fail
Test authentication with ISP: Fail
Test the assigned IP address: Fail
Ping default gateway: Fail
Ping primary Domain Name Server: Fail

What's wrong with this router? Is it a firmware issue?

More details:

When I click connect to internet it says:

connecting in progress then it goes back to the original connection screen

ethernet flashing
dsl light - green not flashing
internet - off

Another router or modem, to test out whether it is reasonable for you to expect to get a connection.

Yeah, have a nice SpeedTouch 330 USB modem ... with Vista... ahahah

That won't work either, but it's driver issues.

Right I need newer firmware for this router. Has anyone got any?
