In itself no - but the mains is generally reliable, so if happening more than one would expect it may point to some other electrical issue in the property, that is leading to lots of RF noise causing havoc with the ADSL signal.

How often does your electric go off? and do you end up having to do anything to get it back?

If the V3 model (which will be in the model name underneath the unit) then http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/i/3476.html may be worth looking at.

Though this problem with AR7 generally did not exhibit itself with poor upstream speeds.

2/3 times a week, its because we have an old electric token metre and never upgraded it to pay month always on service
