Have you checked that your favorites are located correctly? i.e
C:\Users\xxx\Favorites

Hi thanks for replying I don't know what you mean by located correctly, To save the site that I want I just click on the save to favorites button, At the moment the sites that won't load from the favorites menu are barclays.co.uk, barclaycard.co.uk and newnet.co.uk all the rest are loading as normal. confused

Thanks Grahame

When you say you "have to delete it then reinstall it" do you mean IE or just the link that doesn't work in favourites?

What happens if you clear your browser cache/temporary internet files?

What happens if you move the link up the list a fair bit?

Hi Roberto, Thanks for the reply i've tried deleteing my cache /internet files and even my pass words, When I said i've deleted it I did mean just the site then typed it into my browser and then to my favorites menu, I did try moving them but no luck there, It's just half a dozen or so of sites thats the problem.

If all else fails i'll re-install vista in case I've picked up a bug someware but thats going to the extreme.

Thanks Grahame

What happens if you load Firefox and use that?

Try Mozilla Thunderbird. It compliments Mozilla Firefox perfectly, has a powerful spam filter and you can download loads of extras such as a British spell-checker etc

There will many more cries of Thunderbird. I've been using it for years without trouble.

I tried Thunderbird but it wouldn't import my email from Vista's Windows Mail.

Windows Live Mail does the import and has also restored the access to Hotmail that I previously had in Outlook Express back on XP.
