RTMP from iPlayer is encapsulated in HTTP, hence the port 80 delivery. Plain RTMP uses port 1935.
Er it doesnt matter, with certain types of throttling which the other poster i replied to was refering to it would be identified as streaming traffic. That IP i mentioned is a dedicated streaming address..... Iplayer traffic is easily identified as streaming traffic.
Youtube is pure http also yet that IS already identified as streaming content. If that is easily identified something using rtmp will be even more simple to spot. There have already been stories of people that believe iplayer streams are throttled on their service.
