Purple Cloud email provider

[link to this post]

Apologies if this post is off topic, but can anyone help.

I have had a Purple Cloud email account for just over a year. I have had no problems whatsoever until around 3 days ago. I now cannot access my email from either Outlook or via webmail. PurpleCloud has not responded to any of the tickets I have raised.
On the day that I began to experience problems I see on their server status page that they had experienced a problem with their SPAM server. Is this a coincidence?
No more status updates have been posted.

Is anyone out there successfully using their Purple Cloud email accounts at the moment?

Thanks for your help.

I'm on Auckland - had some delays on receiving a couple of days ago, but fine since.

Might be a daft question, but you say you've been with purple cloud for about a year. Has your annual subscription run out?

HI,
Thanks for this - not a daft question at all - I feel totally embarrased.

I had assumed that I would subscribe via a direct debit that would renew automatically. I have also noticed that Purple Cloud have my previous demon e-mail address on their records which explains why I didn't receive warning of this - although I would have expected them to notify me via my Purple Cloud accout. I would also have expected tehm to reply to tickets posted agains my account.

I now have another problem. My email (not domain) account expired 2 days over a month ago so it looks as though my account has been deleted. I can't figure out how to set up a new account using the same domain name. Purple Cloud/'s online system insists on a domain being transferred or registered before providing the option to set up a new account. It just keeps telling me that my domain is already registered with Purple Cloud (a year to go) and won't let me proceed.

Any suggestions?

If they just had a telephone number I could get round this. I guess my only option may be to send them a 'snail' letter. Unless you can help.

Thanks again.

Whilst the email sub is for 12 months, the domain name registration fee covers 2 years, so you may have expired on email but they still hold the domain name for you.

Hi,

Thanks again. I realise this, but there appears to be no way to reactivate or set up my email account again. The online screen insists on either a domain being registered for the first time or being transferred from another DNS name server (or provider). When I enter my domain name, the system tells me either 'Domain name is taken (I know because I own it) or (the domain is already hosted by purple Cloud) respectively.

There seems to be no way to proceed to set up an e-mail account with a domain that already exists and is hosted by Purple Cloud - I assume this is just a badly designed web-site, but Purple Cloud do not respond to my posts and I can't think of anything I can do other than move my domain to a new provider - something I don't really want to do.

Any suggestions?
