BT Market Regions

[link to this post]

Hi

My local exchange is labelled as Market 1 by OFCOM / BT, but in the past two years two LLU operators (CPW and Orange) have added equipment to the exchange.

Should the exchange (Almondsbury) be upgraded to Market 2 and would this reduce the cost of my Broadband connection?

If you went to CPW now you could probably lower your costs, if that is your prime driver.

Only Market 3 exchanges are cheaper for IPStream based services, and then very few providers distinguish. The main difference is between when your provider of choice has added its LLU service to your exchange
