TsoHost forwarding/web/email v Purple Cloud same things :: General Broadband Chatter

On Purple Cloud a domain hosted with them has free web and email forwarding (to a single catch-all address) included. You do not need to buy web or email hosting.

On TsoHost this is not the case. Forwarding is not available unless the domain is held inside a web hosting package. There is no separate email hosting package. The email forwarding itself seems pretty useless as well as being inside a hosting package I can't see what it is for.

I did raise a ticket to ask, but the reply doesn't yet make sense to me.

You can of course set the name servers for the domain to elsewhere. I haven't looked into whether this solves the problem. I don't think it does when forwarding is all you want.
