In nearly every exchange in the country you can choose nearly every ISP in the country.
Well I must admit I never realised that RobertoS. I probably should have added that there is no LLU service from other ISP's in my exchange and not likely to be in the near future. So I mistakenly thought I was stuck with BT Broadband but I am more than happy with the service and speed over the last 3 years and won't risk moving just to save a few quid.

My parents are still with Eclipse which was connected shortly after the 60dB limit was removed in 2004. In 2005 when MaxADSL was introduced they upgraded to Evolution option 1. (Which I have no incentive to upgrade again as it is cheaper than anything else available now). Next they will be on FTTH either this year or early next.
I on the other hand was with Sky in 2007, O2 in 2008-to-date (minus three months with plus.net while waiting for O2 to fix/upgrade their network before switching back)
