it's not fixed to ADSL2 then, and gained 700k going to 2+

Better than before, but still a long way from what you should be getting.

We'll see how things are on Sky smile. There is a DLM system, but I don't think there is a 10-day training like with BT-based ISPs. But don't start doing lots of reconnections to see if things can improve, as even though an occasional one may be faster the overall effect can only be to make things worse.

I would still like to know about what you have on the line, as per my earlier reply to you.

Hi again rob thanks for the reply, i have the filter in the test socket without sky tv plugged into the line and thats all i have on my line is the filter and the adsl grey cable coming from the filter 2 the livebox (brick) lol. I love the new router from sky alot smaller then the BIG livebox lol.

I will post the new line stats 2moz when i switch to sky.

Well i just lost my service with orange plugged in the sky router and now im getting this?

Seriously, you may have to wait a few days for the system to train itself.

EDIT: What is the ADSL Mode it is now using? Is it still ADSL2+?

I think that is normal for the first day or so on Sky. They start at 4Mbps and assess the line. Don't mess, and with luck things will improve tomorrow or the day after.
