BT have some sort of limit on Infinity, but other providers aren't so picky. Anyway, it all depends on distance to your cab.

Government over here is doing a scheme whereas businesses within a certain speed can get 'BET (Broadband Enabling Technology)' and it basically puts two lines onto one and it doubles the speed.

You have mentioned this before, but seem not to understand it. You are getting 7 meg sync. BET technology can provide 'up to' 1 meg on one pair, and 'up to' 2 meg with two pairs. You have much better than this already. If and when FTTC is available, I'm sure you will be able to order.

my cabinet and exchange are FTTC enabled although I don't know whether I will be offered FTTC with a speed of 7Mbps on ADSL
