Openreach claims to manage the UK�s telecommunications infrastructure, so I think you're right Bob.
But what function does BT Wholesale perform ?

Fixed my typo...

BT Wholesale provides the glue that wholesales the network to the myriad of providers that cannot afford the infrastruction to the 5500 nodes that Openreach has its local loop going to

Does this include cable providers, such as Virgin Media, or do they join the Web by bypassing the UK's telecommunications infrastructure?
