Speed Test

Anybody have an idea please as to why since I've had FTTC I'm getting very poor speed results from this speed test?????
I've used it for a long time and it's been accurate until now.
I get results of 26Mb down and 3Mb up and with BT speed test & Speedtest.net 37.45Mb down & 8.51Mb up.
I've placed all the above sites in my Trusted area of my KIS 2011 plus I've also run the test with my KIS paused and get the same from TBB ?????????????

Quite a few people see this (including me)- the tbb test (usually) only reports about 60-70% of the speed that everything else reports on an FTTC connection. Including file downloads from non-tbb sites.

AFAIK, nobody has yet come up with a satisfactory explanation

TBB's flash based speedtester gives me a perfectly flat and consistent result -

However using TBB's Java based tester the speed starts off low and stays there. Out of some 20+ tests none have been anywhere near accurate.
