My unemployed nephew has the option of both...and is with Plusnet simply because it is the better option for him.

Not altogether sure what tipped him to that decision but he is more that happy with his choice. All that proves is that an individual makes decisions on their priorities which may not compute with ours.

As an observation I find that some have never forgiven PN for being one of the first ISP's promoting the concept of throttling by protocol....this at a time when it tended to be a free lunch. From my perspective I recognise they did not invent the concept but rather saw that there would be a market for this type of service, and for those it suites fine...for those it doesn't, look elsewhere
