I am looking to get a better connection to this address. 69.89.66.199

i get a few request time outs.

i have recently changed my Latency type from Interleaved to Fast. has helped alot but what else can be done?

The IP 69.89.66.199 doesn't exist according to an IP translation tool I've just used.

Unless you can persuade the owners of the last 12 nodes to respond to Pings there is no way of knowing what the actual responses time are to those.

Up to node 18 there does not seem to be much wrong - try running Ping Plotter to get a better average for each node.

Results came back as net2ez or gamepot

Opps sorry i forgot to say, this is a game server and does not respond to ping.

So where do you think there is a problem?

i was being naive hoping someone would say " just ring BT and tell them the IP route bla bla"

The issue i have is the game i play has a very sensitive latency issue one or two higher ping will effect the gameplay.

I would say that the issue, and it's minor to be fair, is beyond BT's network.

Mine slows at the same point as Apprentice's, and is with the same ISP as the OP.

I presume you mean hop 11 onwards. If so, there is not much that can be done with te laws of physics!
