Regular Latency spikes - normal?

Hi
I have had a problem with my connection dropping which my ISP say has been fixed, and it has, except that I still seem to be getting very regular latency spikes, this might be normal but I wanted to check!

This snapshot of the broadband quality monitor on my line shows the disconnects and then when it is fixed, the regular latency spikes. Can someone tell me if this is normal or do I still have an issue? The regularity does seem a little odd to me...

That's a typical graph from the BEbox. I think the BQM triggers the anti-flood protection on the TG585.
