TBB Ping Tool - minimum latency changes

Wondering what can cause changes in the minimum ping of a connection which is usually stable. An example here (notice the blip at 12am). There was no router reboot or downtime (13 days 0 hours).

My Broadband Ping

Just that there have been several 'blips' in the past few weeks. Also the attenuation has risen slightly and speedtests have been choppy. Here's an example of an idle day for comparison. Notice that the minimum ping is up slightly now from back in April.

Change in the routing?

Rising temperature is the most likely cause of your attenuation increase assuming it was fairly minor.

3AM ... reboot of a node on the core network, or a router upgrade ... If it is just 1 ms change then the difference could be just .01 ms going from say 15.50 to 15.49 ms which round to 15 and 14 ...
