You are right about price being a factor of course. I put all that in my recommendations to the OP, bearing in mind all that he had said.

I would not believe a word Plusnet says. They quote me 17mb also and I am on a Market one 8mb exchange. Judging from the reply I received from Plusnet this morning, they seem barely literate.
