Re: New TT LLU exchanges

BT refuses to offer any fibre-optic leased lines services from the local exchange, though it is quite possible that their sales staff was simply ignorant. Normal broadband products always tend to miss out on decent upload speeds and are therefore not always sufficient for business users.

Well ive recived information that BT have another 4 exchanges to enabled for 21CN, though there not saying until there press release this week.

So looking hopefull at current, other largest exchanges would be likely for BT to reach their 90% target.

You don't have to use that exchange though, leased lines can be many miles long and come from another exchange, all down to price you will pay.

Hope you get it soon, its the opposite for me in sunny Wales it seems, although i do admire BTs spin in Wales.

" The work will give speeds of upto 20mbps which is more than double the speed the maxium speed currently avaiable"!

True to a point however 5 of the 7 exchanges listed in the main article already have established LLU services with upto 24mbps, I think BT forgot "from us".

Not BT, but the journalists everywhere, or have assumed no-one can get ADSL2+.

True, lazy journalism, however it was lifted directly from the BT statement, if you go back to source its still misleading on BTs part.

Forcing BT to promote the other LLU operators would be unfair though.

A firm will always try and promote its service, BT is past master at missing out the words Openreach and Wholesale, helping to lead people to think BT is the only source.

TalkTalk still has a larger ADSL2+ foot print that BT Wholesale

I appreciate the non advertising of competitors; however the inclusion of our customers and future customers of BT, can now achieve this up to speed would more appropriate. Ive mailed BBC Wales and other online welsh news, over which I believe is a misleading statement and reporting.

As for BT missing out words they are missing out counties and making them up, its very poor, it has Tywyn listed in the county of CAENARFON. Caernarfon is a town, in the county of Gwynedd along with Tywyn. Another email
