That's progress. We should be able to improve the connection.
However although its code LJU2/1A indicates it is a (possibly non-BT) master, it doesn't have the expected capacitor, so there may be another somewhere. Does it look like it has been removed? See the picture of one on
this page and note other differences.
Having checked the excellent Kitz site, it does look like the one on
this page, but still with the capacitor removed.
What you need to do is find every socket you can, maybe even in the roof space or a utility room/cellar if you have such, and gently disconnect everything except T2 and T5. They are the only ones that do anything useful these days, apart from T3 which is the ring/bell wire and is in fact the biggest cause of trouble. See my
explanation here. When you reassemble each socket make sure no dtached wire contacts anything, but preferably don't cut the T3 one - just lever it out and coil it.
While your at it, I think the blue on T2 is white/blue, and on T5 blue/white, or maybe the other way round? Whichever way is fine but
they must be the same way round at all sockets
. Tell us if you find one with the capacitor.
Is the extension you use a wired in one, or is it something you plug into that socket? That would be bad news.
