Your router has disconnected from the exchange and reconnected between the 5:30 stats and the final set. A re-sync in other words.

The upstream connection speed changed. That's the only way it could.

Edit - me being blind - see "System Up Time 00:01:25". I missed that before.

Am I correct in thinking that my Downlstream Connection Speed of 2264kbps every time after any reboot is not normal ?

Yes you are right. It is not normal. As I mentioned earlier, and bit looks even more so now, I think there is a cap of 2272 set on the line and 2264 just happens to be the result when using that router.

Thanks, is it a case of just ringing up Orange to find out why or could it be capped for some reason ?
Seems odd capping such a small amount ?

"just" may be a bit optimistic tongue, but that's what I would do. A cap could have been imposed by the DLM because it thought there was instability, and I think removing it is a manual operation.

Is it possible you are still on a legacy fixed 2 Meg package, such as I had in 2007?

If so, Orange probably expect you to take a new contract to uncap you.

What does it say under "change your package" on your Orange Account?

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 19 Meg WBC

2007 was when I first went with Orange so it's possible
But then again, I had problems back in august with the broadband being very slow, barely opening pages, had an email 2 weeks later saying they were Making "Improvements to your broadband service" but a month later it was still the same So I called them and was offered a new router and 3 months free.
Had an email later saying "We've updated your broadband contract to 12 months as agreed when you contacted us" although there was no mention of a contract update when on the phone but I guess accepting the new router was part of a renewal.

Under change your home package it says Your current home package is:

Home Select - with your Orange phone - £12.26 a month, up to 8 Meg speed, Livebox, Unlimited usage allowance (fair use policy applies). Plus inclusive calls via the Livebox to UK local and national numbers, calls to 30 international destinations (fair use policy applies) and calls to Orange Mobile customers

I also had my router on quite a long extension as it wasn't convenient to plug it directly into the Master Socket but when tried it plugged directly in the Master Socket the Downstream speed was 27xx kpbs rather than the 20xx kbps I was getting on the extension.
Plus Sunday 16:59

Ummmm.

2272 is the sync for a "banded profile" with a 2Mbps top limit, if there is such a band. That's the only thing that strikes me at the moment.

Just double-checking - you definitely once had a 27xx at that socket? It wasn't 227x? If it was 27xx, which router was it?

Is anything electrical/electronic sitting very close to or on another? Like video recorders or anything? Is it a cordless phone, and if so where is the base station?
Definitely 27xx in the same socket but with the Livebox Router, 2648 with the Netgear Router
(Sat 19 Nov 2011 10:51:36, Noise Margin= 9.0, Sync Speed= 2648)
