More interestingly, it might not be the homeplugs!
I put the IP address into my browser and it opened up the homeplugs configuration page, so I assumed that was it. Looking at the list of devices though, none of the mac addresses seem to match up. Strange?

SNMP open on the WAN side for access/monitoring by BT I believe not aware of it working LAN side

Nothing stopping you from using other hardware though

If the MAC address is 00:0B:3B:D3:94:0A then it IS the Devolo

That's what shows as attached to the HH, but if you look on the image of the homeplug config page I posted up, it is different.
Dont doubt you, just trying to get my head round it.

So I dont have to use the HH then?
If so, any recommendations for a good replacement router, reasonably priced.
Really want to get the PRTG software running again, it's brilliant for monitoring the speed and bandwith that EVERY device attached to the router is using
