Ok found something line rental £13.60 broadband & calls £28.00 minus £15.00 discount
Guess discount (from the retention offer?) will end soon, so you need to take that into account when comparing.

You can't be on BT "Unlimited Usage" if you were changed for excess usage. You must be on 40 GB Usage.

You were asked for router stats (see http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/frogstats.php#10 )not speedtest. Much more can be gleaned from the former.

You said at the start that you have unlimited broadband. But that latest post implies you are on the 40GB package?

Or do you mean there are limits on Anytime calls? (Or did you just run over 1 hour a few times, if that restriction is still in place?)

I'm struggling to find anythig that competes if you can get that deal renewed.

Hi anon, take a look at Orange! If you have your mobile phone with them you get unlimited 20meg speed broadband and anytime UK calls including line rental for £23.50 per month. It's like being with BT but you pay Orange.

Hello again XRaySpeX and RobertoS

Sorry I am getting confused! Excess usage was BEFORE this retention offer . I never check bills if they close to the right amount 3 bills around £250 mark were the wake up call that lead to this retention offer. Now with unlimted broadband and anytime calls the bills are around £100 per quarter.

Ok thankyou for checking Robertos. I got a grumpy BT advisor who said that prices have gone up this year but look whats being offered here

Clear as mud!

You now seem to be talking about a standing offer rather than an existing deal coming to an end.

This is an offer made to you personally and not some gossip on the net?

OK, so that's past history!

So, what would you be paying BT if you were to stay with BT after current deal ends and for what? So we know what we are competing with.

Hi there

You'll struggle to beat that BT deal (by much). Honestly get back on the blower & try to get a similar deal

If you're happy with the service try to get the price kept down
