I was wondering what the significance of squiggles like THIS are in the noise margin plot. This shows similar about an hour later and then half an hour. Earlier today, my phone line was again noisy and the router was disconnecting and reconnecting every couple of minutes, before becoming stable again. However the new router generally seems more tolerant of a noisy line (is that possible?) and even when the line sounds noisy the BB is fairly stable.

Something electrically noisy starting up ... A fridge/freezer compressor, a central heating pump, or one of many others. Then running for a few minutes before switching off.
