No, not thought of that but had better on someones elses we found before out and about and before FTTC days. Was not doing anything on mine as logged onto BT fon so could have gone more as me not using private connection, thought it would look and back off the BT fon person if needed.

noticed on the news around the olympics site says "free WIFI". so is this then I guess.

Bet it will take a hit like the 3G around there.

So does go but not full speed.
Do you really want someone outside your house draining all your bandwidth?
I thought it was a fairly small chunk of the bandwidth, to be shared by however many were logging on for it at the time?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - Plusnet Value Fibre FTTC 80/20 trial.

That reminds me - I must disable that (not that I've noticed anyone using it)

on the homehub3 normally the QOS on the router limits the max download total to 2-3mb (why the upload was faster then download) for all btfon and openzone users connected and gives bandwidth priority to the owner of the hub who is connected hardwired or Wifi main bthub SSID

Disabling the bt openzone on your router opts you out of the free 500mins of btopenzone as well (but benefit it can fix issues with wifi not always working)
