What router is it?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 53.5/15.2Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Changing router will make no difference. it needs your ISP to do the changes.

IMPORTANT:

There is a small possibility they have moved you, but are leaving you on a profile that fakes the old style connection, and this will change in a day or two.

NOTE I said SMALL possibility. I am pretty sure that the migration from IPStream to WBC has not actually gone through.

Now you raise this issue Andrew, which I'd forgotten about, I thought it was quite common? Normal, in fact?

Hi guys.

Been nearly 4 weeks since exchange was upgraded and my router still shows me on the previous system of up to 8mb. No speed increase.

Do I take that additional work by BT is required for the upgrade to take effect?

Samknows shows my exchange as being upgraded also!

How long since you rebooted the router? (Best done during daylight).

And has your ISP confirmed that an order has been submitted to move you to the ADSL2+ service?

I turn the power off and on about every other day.

Depends on who I talk to at BT in regards as to whether I've been switched over to 21CN service or not. It's bewildering how incompetent they are.
