Quite a few users have seen higher IP Profiles than their 40Mb or 80Mb capped services should be able to provide recently.

Their actual sync speeds are still capped though.

Via your contacts, are you able to find out if this could be some sort of testing for possible increased capping levels, say to 100Mb?

If it is and if the 96.79% IP Profile rule still applies, it suggests your connection could achieve a sync speed of around 85.7Mb.

Well...when I say "normal" I mean normal for the last month (prior to that I was on a maximum IP profile ever since the rollout of 80Mbps) - still not sure why my line has dropped a few Mbps (possibly interleaving being switched on - and you know what a PITA it is to get that removed, or DLM following a Christmas lights episode hasn't/won't finish bringing back that last 5%).

So something is broken if you're getting a higher IP profile than sync speed.
