how do you know you syncing at 74meg?

74meg throughput suggests much higher sync, it actually suggests a sync at 80meg.

From the program reporting it, or the program setting it, being buggy. As per the link given to this happening a month ago.

An 80Mbps sync gives 77.43Mbps IP Profile. A 74Mbps speedtest sounds quite feasible to me.

I agree, the only problem been he says he only has a 74meg sync.

by something being broken, like I said. Higher profile speeds exist in the product portfolio, but that's not an excuse.

Surely it's possible for the JDSU and the modem to synchronise at slightly different speeds. They are different VDSL devices, after all.

Yes, the JDSU will sync at a slightly lower rate than that achieved by the VDSL modem, but not enough difference to cause the discrepancy I am talking about.

Have you done a re-sync Zarjaz? As I mentioned earlier to Chrysalis?
