I'm going to guess that your telephone line/service is provided by BE. This would suggest you and the BE rep are only using the postcode checker.

When I check with my BT phone number the data is correct. When I test using the postcode checker, it says I can get fttc and other services which is completely wrong.

Try checking availability with your next door neighbours telephone number if they are using a BTW ISP.

But all the best advice round here is to use the address checker if you can't use your telephone number.

The address (house number and post code normally enough) is reasonably good.

Yes - it uses the post code but it isnt the post code checker. The post code checker give fibre results for the exchange, not the CAB, last year when I was interested
