Your phone service and broadband are both provided by BT.

Yes, despite paying the Post Office and Freeola, which is why I said it's a pity BT could not cooperate more.

The reason it is cheaper than the others is that you are a buying a WHOLESALE product which does not have the nice and bad bits of the BT Retail service applied to it.

Postoffice buy a WLR from an arm of the BT Group you have no access to, and then package it up and sell it to you with a suitable label.

So functionality at the WLR level will work fine, but any validation on 'this number is one of our customers when its BT Retail' will not work.

With respect to broadband and migrations all WLR is created equal.

I wish you would STOP deciding what I know, don't know and why I am saying what I am, which does more to 'stir the forum' than anything. I am as entitled to have and express an opinion as the next. You are as entitled to disagree as the next, but if you cannot do that without rude personal attacks, you can be sure you will get one back from me. I am not going to sit idly by and be called 'Stupid' & a stirrer just because you don't agree with my view. If the end result is me getting banned from the pond, see if i care.

Why don't you take Virgin Cable or satellite then you wouldn't have anything BT around you, you won't even have to pay them indirectly if that is what is making you bitter?

Everybody seems to know better than me regarding my situation. So I'll tell you what - YOU tell me why I don't take Virgin Cable.
