It would not surprise me if the HomeHub 4 was buggy. It's new, so there's bound to be a fair bit of firmware upgrading over the coming months.
It really frustrates me when ISPs send out bad hardware. Virgin did it with their superhub. I have a lot of respect for Sky as I've had every router but their first ever and I have never had a single issue with them.
Test before you send them out. These things really should be perfect, afterall most of us leave them on 24/7 so they need to be rock solid.
I'd be interested if another router solves your troubles.
