Upgrade usage limit on Demon?

I'm visiting my parents for Christmas and New Year, they have Demon Internet broadband which appears to be limited to 60GB fair usage. Is there any way to upgrade this over the Christmas/New Year period, e.g. by paying some money online or something?

Have you tried ringing Demon and asking them ?

No, because their support phone line is only open Monday to Friday for Enquiries (see http://demon.net/support/).

Don't believe they have any top up system

What happens if you hit the FUP? When does the usage meter reset?

They throttle you to 128kbit/s and it's a rolling 30 day usage limit so it doesn't reset for 30 days after the first day you started your peak usage.

not really, a rolling 30 day will reset as soon as the sum of the previous 30 days falls below the limit, this can be quite quick depending on the previous use profile.
