Strange speed test results - CPU Issue?

Got excellent speed on single thread up & down - but terrible speeds on x6

Is this looking like cpu load issues on the router?

If your sig is correct, the issue could be your internet Security system. Which one do you use?

All those speeds are impossibly high except the 6x ones.

ahh - ignore sig - this is on a 250Mb up/down connection provisioned on 1Gb private circuit- direct test with laptop is http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3289140983

But stick a firewall on it and traffic profile the traffic to 150Mpbs - single stream works (multiple stream seems to hit some weird buffer) - whilst waiting for tech support to call me about it thought I'd ask here if it looks like CPU hitting limits if people have seen issues like this elsewhere with the TB speedtester ... (and I'm too lazy to really go through all the search results on here to find if anyone has seen slow x6 speeds which relate to CPU limitations on a firewall/router they are using).

The firewall i'm using is rated to 500Mb but you know what manufacturers are like in stretching the truth....

Hi Tam, what are you running the speed test on? What CPU does it have?

As per the documentation, the TBB Download (green) uses TCP port 8095 using a custom protocol and the HTTP x 6 (yellow) uses TCP port 80 and uses protocol HTTP.

To me it looks like it could be traffic shaping� Although I would expect to see the opposite, usually HTTP is given more bandwidth over an unknown protocol.

LOL - you can't blame me for that one i'm afraid, I'm just using a connection supplied/routed via them ... as long as i can pull 250MBish from their interface then they are doing their stuff properly ... this vendor kit on the other hand seems somewhat underpowered....
