Why cant i ping?

Internet working fine but wanted to see what my ping was, so did cmd -> ping bbc.co.uk and got

Pinging bbc.co.uk [212.58.246.103] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 212.58.246.103:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

Trying other sites, aswell as tracert does the same thing. Im on coms.com and never had issues before, not changed any firewall settings or anything. As i said everything working fine so dont get it

Having the same issue. Coms completely [censored] up and firewalled 100% of ICMP traffic today.

Is it effecting browsing and other stuff? Streaming is terrible tonight

Working now after 3 reboots :confused:

It doesn't matter if you rebooted a million times. The problem was in their network. Yes, it is resolved, for now. Look forward to a host of new issues tomorrow.

Yea must have just be coincidence the issue fixed itself at their end the same time it reboot. Ive PM'd both Dan and Paul now. Dont want to go down the route of CS as they just tell you to reboot your router etc

Haha, just wow. Today, again, Coms have blocked all ICMP and download speeds are also reduced to 100k/sec in concert. Looks like they're committed to doing this every day now.

Ive messaged one of the guys who work for Coms on here, linked him to the thread on the other forum. He said he is going to have a look into it and let me know

When you say today, has it been all day or just tonight? (ive only just got in so not been online)
