Hey Guys

I just checked the Ma-in-laws CCTV and they're all working ?????????????????

Am trying to post the image

Edit: Can't sorry. Anyway it's working now. Should I check Router speeds again to see if anything has changed?

Edit 2: Router speeds here (sky) same as yesterdays. Also wife just checked BT router at her mums and they're same as earlier today. Baffled or What. . . .

Maybe there has been a problem or congestion needing additional capacity her exchange? If you tell us her exchange, not yours, we should be able to check that.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 58.7/14.6Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

I noticed when I changed from Be to Sky that some images on some sites didn't load up. But after a few days they did. Not sure why. Sounds like a similar issue.

Glad its worked out now.

Demon => Freeserve => Pipex => Be => Sky

Possibly stale DNS - full factory reset on the Sky router and ipconfig /flushdns on connected pc's.

Well Guys, I'd like to thank you all for your help. The problem is not sorted even tho yesterday all 6 feeds were displayed. It seems to be pot luck . . . anywhere between 1 and 6 will show. But when it's less than 6 the error message about bandwidth pops up prior to the feeds displaying. But there is little more I can do now, for in next few days I'm away from UK for minimum 3 months. I still think it's something to do with the changeover from 02 to Sky. It's too much of a coincidence. Will see how it goes and maybe move to BT BB in a year as a test. Best Regards to you All. C.

Well the exchange has been recently upgraded to fibre.
Whilst I do not say this could have any bearing. On exchange here, which is being upgraded to fibre this year, I get problems with audio and video download on an irregular basis on a consistant 32 down 16 up Attenuation BT ADSL2 line. These did not exist a year ago.

I highly dought switching ISP at your end is likly to improve things as you mentioned even on Virgin Media only 2 of the cams was working. I believe the issue lies at the connection the CCTV cams are at as thats just standard boradband no fibre the upload stream maybe to poor to handle pushing 6 videos feeds out. Does the internet line at the other end have any other devices on it like a laptop or computer which could possible using the upload speed?
