If you are interested enough, a test is always worth doing. You've nothing to lose & it may provide some insight to your connection.

As I explained, and XRaySpeX says, you lose nothing, but it could be well worth doing.

If it works, we learn a lot.

Ignore all the red instructions, just tell it you've done them. If it does recognise the number and give the further diagnostics, please copy and paste the contents of the two results text boxes. We don't need the graphs or other stuff.
