I was talking about an FTTC to FTTC migration. Not FTTC to ADSL.

Although judging by the comments, Origin haven't been able to manage that for their users either.

FTTC DR to GEA-FTTC was a work in progress and I don't think the heart was in it from Openreach or Thales to get it working.

Back to ADSL then onto FTTC is not pretty, but its the route that works.

Yes, I suppose making migrations easier (i.e. making is easier to lose customers) with no regulatory pressure probably didn't put it high on the agenda wink

However, Origin promised a lot of customers a near-seemless migration. I took them up on that offer, as in my mind a single company managing a migration would be better than being stuck in between two.

Well 3 weeks on now and tags are still on the line. Emails and phone calls to BT CEO level hasn't solved anything. Some people have been successful in having tags removed but it is a farcical lottery.
