Look at Zen. £11.22pm. But virtually nothing included so only suitable if your landline is purely for your broadband. I'm thinking of it.

It's very tempting, even after the £2.50 a month increase it would mean for my broadband. I only use the landline when it's free (evening and weekends to landlines) but could easily use mobiles instead, as I do for all other calls. And even if I did use the landline, the call rates are so much lower, especially with the absence of the setup fee. I will certainly look at the options when my Plusnet LRS expires, especially as I cannot renew it before the pending price increase.

I don't know why I haven't moved mine from BT. I'm locked on £19.99 at Plusnet as I went Unlimited before the surcharge was introduced.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.6/14.1Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

This amuses me, for the second time today! Excuse me asking, but how much do you pay per month for your mobile?
I pay line rental to Sky plus £5/mo for unlimited calls to most of the world including mobiles in the US and Canada. 0845 and other "rated" numbers, 0870, can usually be got around by looking at the company's "If calling from abroad" number.

(I should add that my mobile, £40 from Asda, is only used for unlimited tethering, for when we go on holiday, for £20/six months)

(Oh and I refuse to call those selfish people who only give a mobile number!)

I don't know about him, but I have a SIM only pay monthly on O2. £15.92pm with 300 minutes to any network (hardly ever call another mobile), unlimited to normal landline numbers, unlimited data. (Edit - plus unlimited normal texts).

My landline is used for the very occasional 08xx calls or BT SmartTalk.

I don't really need to answer that because most of what I pay monthly is paying for a very expensive smartphone over the duration of the contract and they throw in more inclusive minutes than I could ever use. My choice.

A lot of people I know only have a mobile phone. Calling them from another mobile is the only sensible thing to do as it is effectively free.

Maybe I am as well then, I'll have to check.
