With the help of the BT engineer we identified a neighbour's Netflix box power supply as the cause of my problems with slow speeds and drop-outs. The neighbour isn't doing anything about it. I bought an am radio to check. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Neighbour very friendly etc. Fully aware of the problem. It even affects their internet.
They are just not doing anything about it.

That seems a little odd. As you are friendly with them perhaps a little pressure on them to change the power supply - or as previously suggested off to buy them a replacement - probably won't cost any more than £10.

This sounds bizarre. You have diagnosed the problem and are offering to fix it. Sounds decidedly UN-neighbourly to me!

There ARE rules governing radio interference with other people's services but they are complex and hard to enforce. Sometimes we miss the harsh regime of the Post Office Radio Regulatory section.

And that you'll have to call in the Official BT Interference Investigation team to check out their computers and equipment. Worked for me on a neighbour's faulty monitor PSU which promptly got fixed.
