Leaving username and password as the defaults - WHY? Do you leave your car keys in the ignition?

The first thing we did on both of ours was change the admin password that is used to log onto the routers control panel, we then disabled everything, then started to enable what we used, and for our Wi-Fi passwords we use 26+ characters which includes upper and lower case character including numbers.

And if we see anything strange in the logs we do a factory reset and go through the same process but with different passwords.
