BT are incredibly cautious with technologoy rollouts frown it seems as if they been trialling vectoring for an eternity.
I should hope they are. They are responsible for the vast majority of internet connections in the UK. Rushing into things could waste a lot of investment money and upset huge numbers of customers.

I agree that BT can be quite conservative about making changes that affect existing customers.

At least it appears that the trial seems to be now focussed on the aspects of a nationwide rollout - processes, people, training, maintenance rather than the technology.

Not just the UK.

BT were involved in the definition and development of the modulation and coding schemes for VDSL2 before they managed the "competitive" trials and evaluations of different methods and preparing te recommendations for ITU acceptance.

You seem to be only thinking of extremes, I never said there should be no testing, but there is no need to test it as long as they have, they first tested vectoring 4 years ago.
