BT DSL Checker

I've been looking at FTTC availability in St Andrew's for a job at work.

When I put in the postcode KY16 9LB I get a list of different addresses, most of which are fed by cabinet 15.

This one for example:

They're fed by the same cabinet and Abbey Walk isn't a long road, so how can one show as FTTC available and one not?

Postcode checker not reliable. Use Address checker.

Does look like something is wrong, only thought may be that there is an oddity in the cable routing, down one side of Abbey Street from South Street and then only crossing over once it gets to Balfour Place to return on the other side, thus lengthening the cable routing considerably, but even then would not expect that distance to be too far.

Down to the people who cannot order to raise it via their provider really, or there is something funky with the phone line to the Nursery

It looks like he is putting the postcode into the address checker, then selecting individual addresses. That works fine.

could be the community centre has fttc already, but the cabinet is full, so not available for the nursery

Could be but usually a capacity message appears

No probs, only took a few mins to find.
Mind you Google Maps has that dated April 2010 so its pictures from 4 years ago, so it may of changed.
