That's good because I have 3 sockets and if I plug my modem into master socket or one in living room I loose up to 3/4 of a meg the office upstairs is the best one and its a brand new house

If it's a new house I can almost guarantee it is star wired. You'll learn how to remove star wiring, and turn one of those other sockets into the master socket with an SSFP fitted.

When i last went it had a good gym and sauna to work all the food and beer off .

Have been reading through this thread most politely, all very informative. However what I cannot let be posted without commenting is the above.

You SO didn't use the gym or the sauna did you bert !!! winksmile

I've been there a few times, it's always been OK, 'cept I always get a room vacated by the sweatiest jointer on the whole company. The food was good.

Good luck in your new role project x. Work hard, learn lots, and don't let the stats drag you down.

Some people go to the pub but there's also a bar onsite.

It's possible some of your training may be in other places. It's just Yarnfield is the biggest so you'll likely be there the most. There's also training rooms in some of the larger telephone exchanges and I know there's a training centre in Harrogate, Croydon too (I think).

Years since i last went so dont know about now but was only gym , onsite bar and one off site pub if you have no car. Last i heard you had to take your works van ? if so you are stuck there !

ps not 100% about the works van and as you are a new start you may not have a van when you go there.
