Re: Dealing with Openreach, and Zero Information

When I had a problem with getting a line installed, even with copper already in place, Openreach fell back to using ordinary copper, non-broadband-qualified, engineers. They'd then book a separate engineer, for the same day, for FTTC.

Of course, the FTTC engineer would have a wasted journey when the copper guys hadn't completed.

Fairly rare for a copper trained engineer not to be FTTC trained also TBF.

5th of [censored] January

Colour me unimpressed.

GHranted, I understand enough of the process (and I'm far from the worst example of delays I've read around here) but still... 6 weeks end to end is gutting.

I may be ranting a little wink
