Unfortunate thatyou have not been offered an immediate position with BT OR; but have you considered applying to one of their Sub-Contractors?

To the other BT OR staff on this thread
Would that be advantageous in developing directly his skills?

More job satisfaction ? As in being able to complete more jobs rather then sending the back for someone else to do. But not more money ! frown Now some years back we were told "more skills = more pay" but it never happed. So you have a socket jockey on the same pay as a multi skilled guy.

Hey all

I was meant to start training on March 14th but I had a call to say I was the only person on the course so they had to cancel and I could i start the week before which I was unable to do. So now it looks like early April as no more courses running in March as end of financial year.

I haven't however heard anything and am getting worried there isn't a course for me? Anybody else been told April?

Ive quit my job based on March 14th start so slightly worried

I applied for a job as BT Openreach Engineer last year and just heard back from them being invited to the assessment centre.

If anyone has any hints or tips they would be greatly appreciated. Had a read through the post and took a few notes. Keeping my fingers crossed and trying to remain positive.

Also, well done to everyone so far on this post that has successfully passed the assessment centre and started training.
