I got an email saying that I passed assessment mate and that due to internal restructuring that they couldn't confirm a position but would hope to do so within 2 weeks. 2 days later I got called and offered a role.

I was like your self, panicking that the internal restructuring was the get out clause but then they phoned. I was full of excitement again. Just a shame that my holiday clashes with the training and need to wait a bit longer to start.

Just keep your head up mate. I'm sure you'll get a role and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you mate

I haven't had anything yet although it was only Tuesday when I did the assessment. It was more the fact they said it would be a phone call if I'd passed and an email if not so now I know some people were told they've passed via email I can rest a bit easier every time my phone makes the new email sound haha.

Cheers, I hope so too as I got an email today telling me I was unsuccessful in what was going to be my backup plan! Lol.

They did actually mention a few times they were trying to change the way they did training so were unsure on exactly how it would go down but that all would be revealed when sent the contract!

Me personally i was never told a phone call if successful and an email if not, i was under the impression it was all done via email either way i guess a lot of us are either waiting for roles and start date or just yes or no answers

I got the phone call this morning and I've got the job!
Fixed term 18 month contract and start 9th May, possibly sooner if people drop out as I've said I don't need to hand in a notice to anyone!

Yeah I hope so too, after hearing that it's very rare they don't keep people on after their 18 month contracts, I feel optimistic about it!
