Just keep at it, there was a guy at the assessment day when I was there who had applied not that long ago... I wasn't that fortunate but I'm in the door now!

Got sent my contract offer etc today and currently reading through the mountains of pages of things I need to do!

Hi

I applied for BT Openreach apprenticeship earlier this week, does anyone know how long on average they take before they decide to invite you to an interview or not?

Thanks

Hi got the call back later that day luckily before i dropped off grid! Got the job yeaaaa! Permanent contract too based where I live which is nice. Just waiting on the contract which she said might not be until May because my start date is June 13th. Super excited now though! How long did you have to wait for your contract to come through?

Got my contract about 3 weeks later.
Everything is pretty straight forward

Your disclosure
Sign contract
References
Copy's of passport
Health declaration
Who you want to have the insurance pay out if you die

And that's about it really.. A few days after agreeing your contract you will get an email of someone
Requesting similar info plus all your uniform sizes.

Hope that's helps

Ahh that's great news, congratulations! Permanent contract too!.. I only got 18 months but they reckon they keep the majority on so long as they're not completely useless!

Well I got the phone call last Friday (18th) and got the contract/job offer through yesterday (23rd)
You have to read through it all and either accept or reject the offer, once you've accepted it, a new tab comes up on the online job page saying tasks and that gives you everything you need to do as in read through new starter page, personal details, health declaration and of course the disclosure Scotland checks there's a couple more on there too but after accepting the job offer you also later get an email off somebody that asks for stuff like a code to check your driving licence, bank details, uniform sizes etc.

I can't progress any further than I have now until I acquire a scanner off my brother!

I think they said I'd be at yarnfield for a week or two so I could possibly be starting my second week there if it's two!
Up to Harrogate apparently for the rest of my training.
