Where abouts are you based?
I know it's Harrogate for me as I think that's the closest training centre to where I live, an hour or so drive away anyway.

Im from Warrington. So yarnfield is just over an hour away for me. But think that is the nearest training centre.

I'd imagine any time now you will get a call. I was told I'd get the phone call regarding training about 2 weeks before. From what I've been told you travel up on the Sunday via train and then they will pick you up from the train station in a mini bus. With the idea being you get your van after the first few days so you will drive your van home for the weekend.

That's what I was told, 2 weeks before somebody would ring me two weeks before to organise travel and accommodation... Heard it can either be train or hire car.
Think I'd prefer the car to be honest rather than getting about 3 trains haha.
Yeah I've heard a minor theory test on the Thursday and a minor van driving test with an AA instructor and if you pass you get to pick up your van!

From what I've read on other forums you might be better getting the train pal.
You have to take the hire car back and you already have a car to get back. so the ones who don't have a way of driving back get the van first if there isn't enough straight away....

Ah good point about the trains actually!

A double bed you mean? I'm hoping that's what I get anyway but it's not us who's booking them it's a case of waiting til they ring us two weeks before.
